TIPS / TRICKS FOR YOUTUBE CREATORS

Tips & Tricks for Content Creators:

1. First of all is it Is it worth being a YouTuber? 100% YES, go for it! It doesn't hurt to try.
2. Create awesome video thumbnails so people would want to click it.
3. Get equipment for YouTube, a camera or phone to record with, a tablet, phone, or laptop to edit / upload videos, a microphone, and a tripod.
4. Make short titles, no one wants long titles.
5. Speak clearly in your videos so people can understand what you're saying.
6. Add end screens to promote your other videos. (See Instructions)
7. Create an opening line for your videos. For example, mine is, Hey guys! What's up, Apple Expert here, and today I'm going to show you how to make a iCloud email!
8. Commit to posting videos per week, or per month.
9. Record / Upload your videos in high quality 720p or higher so people can see what you're doing, if the video is blurry how are people supposed to see what you're doing.
10. Collaborate with other YouTubers.
11. Create a posting schedule and stick to it, trust me it's easier than uploading randomly.
12. Use simple video editing tools like iMovie for macOS or for PC (OpenShot) when you start, then if you want you can move to advanced editing softwares like Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premier Pro.
13. Ignore those hate comments on your videos, just keep on doing what you do.
14. Connect with your viewers.
15. Create a custom channel url. (See Instructions)
16. Use copyright free music or else your channel will have copyrighted content, your channel will be terminated after 3 strikes, Use No Copyright Sounds (NCS) on YouTube, as they have tons of free sounds without copyright, but just make sure to add credit, go to the video description, and you should see something like this "When you are using this track, we simply ask that you put this in your description:" than, you just need to copy the text below. So, for example if I use this sound track (Lost Sky - Need You [NCS Release]), I need to copy and paste this text "Track: Lost Sky - Need You [NCS Release]

17. Get video inspirations from your favourite YouTubers or social media.
18. If your video is long, create timestamps so viewers can jump to specific sections.
19. Thank viewers for watching your videos. remind them to like, comment, subscribe and share.
20. Verify your account with your phone number, so you can post videos longer then 15+ minutes. and create custom thumbnails. (https://www.youtube.com/verify)
21. Optional: Create a website to post your content, ideas, and more.
22. Focus on what you do best once you start, and then try out new things in the future.
